Integrative
Nutrition
Integrative Nutrition's mission is to play a crucial role
in improving the health and happiness of Americans, and
through that process create a ripple effect that transforms
the world.
The Professional Training Program at Integrative Nutrition
teaches all of the different dietary perspectives from the
traditional to the modern, from the East to the West, from the
ancient traditions of macrobiotics and ayurveda to the current
trends in raw foods, the Blood Type Diet, Atkins and the South
Beach Diet.
Integrative Nutrition also addresses what these theories
don't talk about, a concept we call primary food. Healthy
relationships, regular physical activity, a fulfilling career
and a spiritual practice feed your soul and satisfy your
hunger for living.
Classes are taught by the biggest names in nutrition today,
including Joshua Rosenthal, the founder and director of
Integrative Nutrition, Dr. Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra, Dr.
Walter Willett, Annemarie Colbin and many more.
Graduates are trained to become certified Health Counselors
and are eligible for national board certification by the
American Association of Drugless Practitioners and Columbia
University's Teachers College. Some open up their own private
practices, while others work in corporations, clinical
settings, wellness centers, or in community programs.
